Who is Team Ashman?
Hi, I’m Ali, mom of three, Behavioral Therapist, and former powerlifter. As a woman who has lost over 120 pounds through a sustainable, driven yet non-restrictive lifestyle change. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to juggle motherhood, career, and personal health - but also know what's possible with the right support, plan, and mindset.
My journey wasn’t overnight. It was filled with real-life challenges - late nights, picky eaters, busy schedules, and lots of setbacks, to be quite honest.

So whether you’re just starting or picking yourself back up, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way. We will build habits that fit your life and schedule, because every woman deserves to feel confident, strong, and empowered in their body, and that includes you.
Empowering women to rise and rewrite their story one healthy choice at a time because this time, it’s about you and you're worth it.
But along the way, I learned to turn those obstacles into the exact fuel I needed to make the biggest changes. Now, I’d like to help other women - especially moms - find their strength, reclaim their health, not only for themselves but for those around them, by creating a lasting change without the extremes of diet culture and the guilt.

I’m Jay, and I have been a trainer and nutritionist for over 20 years. I have been there and done that in this business and sports, having played Super League rugby, competed in Powerlifting, Strongman, CrossFit, and BJJ. I also know what it’s like having to rebuild myself after injury, apathy, and medical issues.
My journey was filled with hills and valleys. Hills such as qualifying for the National Rugby Playoffs with my team, and valleys such as recovering from heart failure at the age of 41. Hills such as being in phenomenal shape as an athlete, and valleys, such as stepping on the scale at 320 pounds, wondering how I got there.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a competitor, a fitness enthusiast, or someone just starting (or returning), there is a place for you with Team Ashman.
Being the best man you can be is being the best man for your life.
Now I utilize my experience, education, and knowledge to help other men reclaim their lives through proper training, healthy eating habits, and a mindset geared towards creating a sustainable lifestyle that aligns with their hectic lives.
